Last month, representatives from The Core visited the Riverpoint Campus of Washington State University in Spokane to find out how a community came together to transform land that was once the domain of Northern Pacific Railroad into a new urban campus.

The leadership team members of The CORE med-tech industry cluster in Meridian have been reaching out to major organizations to continue to grow as the epicenter of health and research in the State of Idaho.  Their efforts are creating a critical mass for Idaho’s economy – a burst of new opportunities in healthcare, which is projected to be Idaho’s largest, fastest-growing and highest-paying industry through at least 2016.
