CORE capital

From the startup entrepreneur to the largest Fortune 500 Company, availability of and access to Capital are a critical issue. The CORE recognizes that Idaho needs more sources, and easier access, to capital for a healthy economic ecosystem to flourish; therefore, the focus of CORE capital is to provide the members of The CORE with access to a variety of sources of capital. The CORE takes a broad view of capital and considers the ability to avoid paying money out of the company just as important as getting investment or capital into the company. This includes:

  • Creating an Angel Fund in The CORE that is focused on Meridian and Health / Research related companies but not exclusive to that criteria
  • Assistance with tax abatement programs
  • Assistance with grant programs
  • Establishing banking relationships that will provide long term relationships for members of The CORE
  • Providing educational venues on what types of capital exist and how to access it more effectively
  • Helping established companies build relationships while still helping entrepreneurs navigate the early stages of fund raising

The focus of CORE Capital is to provide resources to anyone that has a capital need. Regardless of the size of the need or the form of the need, providing a better understanding of what is available, how to access it and what the appropriate terms are will create a long-term environment that promotes growth and investment.
