Touts Collaboration between Government, Higher Ed, Private Business

Idaho Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter unveiled the proposed new $3 million IGEM, Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission, by videoconference Jan. 18. 

Heavy snows in Boise prevented Otter from traveling to Idaho State University research facilities in the former Ballard Building on Alvin Ricken Drive, where reporters and guests gathered for the unveiling and tour.

MERIDIAN, Idaho – Leaders of The CORE – a non-profit organization formed to promote a health and research industry cluster straddling I-84 in Meridian – today announced the launch of a new source of potential funding for business development and its CORE Capital program to contribute to economic development throughout Idaho.  The fund will do business as the Treasure Valley Angel fund, LLC (the “fund”).
